This is one of the items that you say "Why didn't I think of that". It's so simple but it solves what could be a big problem (water & electricity not a good match). I use these for my outdoor wet rated fans (don't leave your normal fans in the rain). I plan to purchase more for the camper and for the green house. I have some smaller ones but it takes some effort to cram the big plugs in. These on the other hand are very roomy, it should accommodate any everyday outdoor cord.
