Would definitely recommend the base weights for windy conditions. With these in place it is much more sturdy. The opening in the top also prevents any lift in prevailing winds. I’ve found this to work well. Is the parasol shower proof? Haven’t had it open in the rain, but when it has got wet the water beads off the surface. Definitely has some sort of coating. Is the lighting bright white light or warm white light? Hi, it’s a bright white light. Not in your face though. Looks quite good. Does this tilt at a angle? Yes. The top part - the parasol - tilts and the base swivels 360 deg. So you can achieve many angles / positions. Well made. We are impressed!
