Like the look of the fan, and it’s mostly quiet (slight hum) but was very difficult to install by myself. The most difficult part was actually the light kit which is usually the easiest part. There is nothing to hold the light up while you connect the wiring. They should have designed with a quick connect connection. Other design flaw is no canopy ring to hide the screws. Otherwise good valueThis fan is very pretty! It was just what I was looking for. It is a bit of a pain to have to install the crystal-like strings on the light are kinda a pain to string around, but it looks very pretty after it’s done. I love supporting small businesses!These are nice fans, they work exactly as described (mostly...).We bought more than one to use in a large room. Luckily one remote control can control all the fans! Unfortunately, the fans offer three light colors and the light color switch on the remote control turns on different colors in the lamps: only occasionally do they display the same color but mostly they cannot.Product support provided detailed documentation about how to disassemble the fans and reprogram their remotes and the receiving units within the fans. The light color mismatch was an annoying problem, we were committed to fixing it and we tried over a number of days to get it to work. But it simply would not.It's anybody's guess how often the lights will turn on at the same color. Usually they don't, sometimes they do. We gave up. Because they are cheap, we'll probably tear them out next summer and replace them with lamps that have only one color option! Probably not buying this cheapo brand again ... you get what you pay for!Its sooooo LOUD. Its like the old metal airport hangar desk fans from the 50's loud!If quiet is one of your desires, do not buy this. Go to your local home improvement stores and buy a "HUNTER" brand fan. I have them in nearly every room in my house, they are a QUARTER of the noise volume of this one. Having said that, this fan is aesthetically pleasing and the light is very bright, better than the Hunters. I would return this fan if I felt like uninstalling it and sending it back, which I don't.Just wanted you to know.What a perfect addition to our RV farmhouse kitchen! We love this fan and remote combo.It's quiet and does the job.The fan looks great and seems to have good built quality. But not sure if my product was defective or not but the remote/receiver does not function properly. It’s like the signal for it goes in and out. It will freeze and nothing I press will happen. Also I noticed when it starts freezing up and wont let me do anything the motor becomes extremely loud, louder than any ceiling fan I've ever heard even at the one setting. And using the wall switch to turn it on and off makes it act up as well. Very disappointing.This is a beautiful fan. It does not offer a lot of light but adequate light for ambience. Just don't think you will be able to study by it. The fan is great. The remote control is good. This is a replacement for an older model that was connected to three way wall switches. The remote did not support those connections which has made it a bit challenging. I'll be changing where it is installed so I don't have to contend with the three way switches!Aesthetically pleasing, love the lighting options too but the fam is not for a humid room (not on its own at least). The breeze is certainly not the most powerful, good enough to circulate the air from an air conditioner but not as a stand alone fan. Other than that, good value for money
