I have them plugged into a dusk to dawn timer. Wish they did not have to be plugged in and could plug more sets into each other and had wifi. Bright and love the color options but they are priceyI love these lights. They are easy to install and very easy to pair with another set. My only complaint would be that they seem to break easily. I think my Gardner’s either trip over them or catch the cord racking. I think it would be best to put ground cover over the cords to keep this from happening. Once there is a break it’s lights out from there on. :(Briteness and colorfullyBought the string of 12 lights last year and liked them so much that I bought a 24 string this year. The opaque top creates a bright and solid dot of color. The Set offers several built in color pattern options. I used them to line my driveway for Christmas. Also used them for Halloween to light the path up to the front door. Sturdy. Waterproof and the stakes hold them secure but aren't so long that they are difficult to remove. I wish they were a bit more programmable, like I wish you could program in cycling patterns, but there are still enough options built in to create a beautiful fun display.If you are looking for some easy landscaping lights that work well and are easy to install - look no further.Unlike other low voltage landscape light systems, these are prewired and the tranformer is encased in a weatherproof plastic.As pictured, I used these in a water feature I was building to outline the structure.The colors are brilliant, and you can dim the individual colors... want blue but not so bright? Hit the "dimmer" button a few times.They also have a "fade" function that transitions thru all the colors, and the white actually has 3 different whites.I would definitely recommend these lights.In fact I am going to be buying more when I start developing the rest of the back yard.great product and price........These really are very nice, bright with many many color options as well as how you want them to operate. They can dim, flash, alternate between colors, pick a few colors etc etc. My only wish would be if they could somehow rather than being a continuous string in one direction, allow them to "divide" and have some split left and some split right to cover both sides of the front of my home. Other than that, I really like them. If they last through winter, then well worth it.
