I was reluctant to buy these based on some of the reviews but I am SOOO glad that I did. I bought 3 sets for our Tiki bar and they are amazing. Main reasons for the purchase were because of how colorful they are and that numerous sets can plug into each other. They look even better at night unlike some of the reviews I read. Look at my pic and see for yourself! Highly recommended!These work just fine but not as pleased with the appearance when lit. I had an older string I was replacing that were solid in color rather than translucent. With these you can tell they are parrots but you can see more light through the plastic rather than seeing a parrot with a glow coming from the inside itself. Bought these because I couldn't find a solid plastic color set at the time.My husband absolutely loves these!! Can’t wait till he finishes his bar area and hangs them so I can come back and post a picture!I bought four sets of these lights to hang from my camper's awnings. Although they arrived on time, the quality is very good and I really like the way the parrots look when they are turned off, because the plastic is so clear, once the lights are turned on all you see is the glare of the light bulbs inside and can't tell they are parrots anymore. They just look like white Christmas lights. They still work well and look pretty good, so I'm going to keep them, but I've seen other parrot light strings for sale that have a more opaque plastic that you may like better. They my look more parrot-like once they are lit up.Excellant !!! Well wrapped...none broken......Love these..!!! Got to give to Friends At Legacy widows assoc......they will love these..!!!! Have'n as yet received the parrot wine holder.....!!!
