The light stays at 30% brightness until something comes in the radar zone and then it turns on bright, very bright, and I’m very pleased with the light the only complaint I have is my remote does not work, could I possibly get a new remote I would really appreciate it!great product...must have rated the wrong product...Every night my husband has to back his dump truck with a 16’ trailer beside our barn and it’s pitch dark out here in the country. We didn’t have enough amps to run the light he was going to buy so I thought I’d surprise him and just try this never thinking it would really work this well! This was so easy to install and wow the light it puts out is just amazing? Best purchase we’ve made in a long time! We own 2 of these now… one for each side of the barn and it lights up probably a couple of acres! Funny thing is I don’t ever write reviews ???It keeps my yardl lit and my electric bill lowEverything is awesome right now. Live in the middle of nowhere. So it’s nice to light up around the barns without running electricity and be able to turn off with the remotes. I’ll let you know how long they last but so far so good.Had to go to hardware store to get the right mounting screws and bolts.
